>> Wednesday, May 25, 2011
The 2009 Acura TL is redesigned and slightly enlarged in most key dimensions. This premium midsize sedan is available in base and SH-AWD (for Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) models. The latter replaces the Type-S as the high-performance member of the TL family. Base versions receive a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 280 hp while SH-AWDs get a 3.7-liter V6 that, at 305 hp, is the most powerful engine yet offered in an Acura. A 5-speed automatic with "Sequential SportShift" steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters is the sole transmission for both models. The SH-AWD includes a sport suspension and 18-inch wheels in place of the 17s used on the base car. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Also standard are leather upholstery with heated front seats, sunroof, wireless cell phone link, and 8-speaker audio. A Technology Package, priced as a separate model, includes 10-speaker audio and a navigation system with real-time traffic and weather alerts.

2011 Dodge Charger tighter wheel
>> Saturday, May 21, 2011
Chrysler has just unveiled the new 2011 Dodge Charger which comes with various improvements over the previous version. The exterior design of the 2011 Dodge Charger is inspired by the second-generation of the model which was premiered back in the 1960s. The 2011 Dodge Charger has a new split crosshair signature grille, a lower hood line, a "faster" windshield and raked back headlights. The 2011 Dodge Charger also seems to have tighter wheel openings, a flat underbody, a re-designed aluminum hood and new LED taillamps.
The interior of the 2011 Dodge Charger features a new thick-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, upgraded materials, and the Uconnect Touch system.
1969 Dodge Charger Explained
Given all these choices, it's perhaps ironic that the car came in just one body style, a two-door hardtop. The 1969 Dodge Charger was an update of the completely restyled '68 model, which meant it was built on a 117-inch wheelbase with Chrysler's familiar torsion-bar suspension up front and leaf springs in the back. New styling touches for base and R/T Chargers included a vertical center divider in the grille and horizontal taillights.
Dodge Charger America's Cars
The Dodge Charger debuted in the mid 1960s as a response to America's growing interest in average cars with above-average performance. This two-door coupe boasted aggressive fastback styling and big V8 power, including Chrysler's famed 426 Hemi. As with similar vehicles of this time period, however, the Charger's glory quickly faded after 1970 due to rising insurance and gas prices, higher emissions standards and changing consumer tastes.
